The Other Side of Glass Begins September 8

He survived by becoming invisible.

Outside the city, beyond the glass, Joe lives in a world of hunger, concealment, and the hard routines that keep him alive. But invisibility does not last forever.

The Other Side of Glass is a grounded dystopian story about survival, surveillance, and the cost of being seen. It follows people living inside systems that sort them, name them, and decide what their lives are worth.

The story will be released in three episodes.

I chose this form because of my friend Chad. He travels often and cannot always commit to an entire five-hundred-page novel. I wanted to write something he could carry with him and read quickly without making a large investment of time.

Each episode tells its own story while forming part of a larger narrative. Each also represents a particular part of my life, transformed into science fiction.

Episode 1, Westlake Overpass, follows a man who has survived by remaining unseen. When violence and surveillance begin closing in, survival takes on a new cost.

The Other Side of Glass — Episode 1: Westlake Overpass will be released September 8, 2026, in Kindle, paperback, and hardcover editions.
