The Other Side of Glass Episode 1 Goes to the Editor’s Desk

The Other Side of Glass Episode 1 has now moved from manuscript state into editorial review.

This stage is quieter than a cover reveal or a release announcement, but it matters just as much. It is where the work leaves private drafting logic and enters the more exacting phase of refinement, pressure, and confirmation. The book is no longer only being written. It is being prepared to become publishable.

Episode 1 is the opening movement in a three-part fall 2026 release sequence, followed by a collected edition in December. Its job is to establish the world, the pressure line, and the human scale of the series without over-explaining what comes later. Sending it to the editor is part of making that structure real.

The Other Side of Glass is built around survival, managed order, and the systems that decide who gets seen and who gets left outside. Episode 1 begins at that edge. What comes next in the publishing process is simple to describe and harder to rush: editorial review, further revision, title packaging, and the continued buildout of the release surface around the book.

For now, Episode 1 is on the editor’s desk. More when the next stage is ready.

T.R. Eatherton

I write speculative fiction about survival, consequence, and the systems people find themselves trapped inside. I’m interested in pressure—what it reveals, what it erodes, and what remains when a person has to keep moving through it. My work is grounded in atmosphere, human behavior, and the quiet mechanics of control.
